Disney's
Fairy Tale Weddings is the official program through
which you must plan weddings, commitment ceremonies
and vow renewals that will take place in the Disney theme parks or Disney's resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort.
Whenever I refer to a wedding on this page, the same
information applies to a vow renewal or commitment
ceremony. As far as Disney is concerned, these are
interchangeable.
There are three types of events offered: Escape
Collection (formerly called "Intimate Weddings"),
Couture Collection and Wishes
Collection (formerly called "Custom Weddings").
Escape Collection
Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies & Vow Renewals
Escape Collection
Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies and Vow Renewals
are small, simple events limited to a maximum of 18
guests, plus the happy couple. 2009 prices start at $4500.

Wishes Collection Weddings,
Commitment Ceremonies & Vow Renewals
Wishes Collection
Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies and Vow Renewals
are completely customized events with anywhere from
10 guests up to hundreds of guests. You pick everything
out, including location, colors, menu and design elements.
For a price, you can get just about anything your
heart desires -- even a ceremony in front of Cinderella
Castle and a ride in Cinderella's Carriage. 2009 prices
start at $10,000 (plus service fees and tax). 2010 prices
start at $12,000 (plus service fees and tax).

Couture Collection
Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies & Vow Renewals
Couture Collection
Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies and Vow Renewals
are semi-custom events with anywhere from 10 guests
up to hundreds of guests. You make minimal choices
from a special design collection developed by party
planner David Tutera. Everything has been pre-selected
for you, including the locations, centerpieces,
linens and flowers.
The concept behind the Couture Collection is to
"provide an opportunity for brides to feel
like a celebrity and become a guest at their own
wedding," according to Tutera. This package
is ideal if you just want to show up and have a
lavish, beautiful event with minimal effort.
Prices for the reception decor packages alone start
at $45,000 (plus service fees and tax). With the
additional required $250 per head catering minimum
and the ceremony costs, a Couture Collection event
can easily cost $100,000.
