Walt Disney World Fairytale Weddings - Couture Collection by David Tutera

Couture Collection Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies and Vow Renewals are semi-custom events with anywhere from 10 guests up to hundreds of guests. You make minimal choices from a special design collection developed by party planner David Tutera. Everything has been pre-selected for you, including the locations, centerpieces, linens and flowers.

The concept behind the Couture Collection is to "provide an opportunity for brides to feel like a celebrity and become a guest at their own wedding," according to Tutera. This package is ideal if you just want to show up and have a lavish, beautiful event with minimal effort.

Award-winning lifestyle expert David Tutera is known as a trendsetter and leading creative force in the wedding and party planning industry. His talents can be seen on his hit primetime series on Discovery Home Channel, "Party Planner with David Tutera." His high-profile client list includes Jennifer Lopez, Jewel and Barbara Walters. He has created events for the Grammys, royalty, socialites and other organizations worldwide.

Couples will be able to enjoy selections of rich fabrics, floral arrangements, props and furniture along with elegant flatware, stemware and table settings -- all inspired exclusively by Tutera. They also will have the opportunity to incorporate more of Tutera's wedding vision into other aspects of their wedding, including the invitations and ceremony, to complete the entire experience.

Ceremony at Disney's Wedding Pavilion

All Couture Collection ceremonies are held at the Wedding Pavilion. The Wedding Pavilion has the atmosphere of a Victorian chapel overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon, with the Castle in the background. It is a very elegant location and the most private option for a ceremony. It is air-conditioned.

Ceremonies can be held at almost any hour of the day or evening in the Wedding Pavilion. If you choose a late evening ceremony, you may be able to time the ceremony so that the fireworks are going off over the castle just as you complete your vows.

At the Wedding Pavilion there are private areas for the happy couple, should you wish to be traditional and not see each other before the ceremony. If you want to add videography to your package, this location is pre-wired with cameras that cover everything, so there will be no videographer underfoot. Cinderella's Carriage can be used at this location.

Site rental fee is $2,500 plus 6.5% sales tax. The fee includes an organist for the ceremony. The Pavilion will seat up to 300 people.

If you want the optional David Tutera Couture Collection ceremony decor package, that starts at an additional $3000 (plus service fees and tax). This package only includes the décor for the ceremony and does not include, among other things, any rental fee for the ceremony location, personal floral, transportation, photography or videography.

Reception at Contemporary Resort Ballroom

Couture Collection receptions are available exclusively at Disney's Contemporary Resort in one of the ballrooms. Prices for the reception decor packages (see Looks below) start at $45,000 (plus tax).

Additionally a minimum food and beverage expenditure of $250 per person (plus service charge and tax) is required for all Disney’s Couture Wedding Receptions. Minimum food and beverage expenditures are comprised of food and beverage costs incurred at the wedding reception, which may include pre-reception, reception, wedding cake and all alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages.

Couture Looks

Disney's Couture Collection by David Tutera offers couples four tailored looks to create the perfect atmosphere for their special day:

Classic Elegance -- a traditional, romantic setting that marries gold and pink and features an abundance of crystal chandeliers and numerous gilded mirrors to create the ultimate formal wedding.

Cocktail Soiree -- chocolate browns and ice blues come together with chic lounge-style furniture and an illuminated bar to create a hip and contemporary party environment.

Enchanted Garden -- soft, springtime palettes of yellow and green create a fanciful floral garden setting amidst topiaries and butterflies in flight.

Simply Chic -- clean contemporary lines, suspended white lanterns and the use of Lucite and glass in a pure white party space with green accents create a fresh take on a modern look.
