Walt Disney World Fairy Tale Weddings
- Extra Wishes Collection Events & Celebrations
On this page I've gathered useful information
about the optional events and celebrations that can be
added on to a Wishes Collection Wedding, Commitment Ceremony
or Vow Renewal through Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings at
Walt Disney World.
Among the options are restaurant
dinners, private
boat cruises to watch the fireworks or IllumiNations,
IllumiNations Dessert Parties,
and Mad Hatter Tea Parties.
All prices on this page are subject to
change at any time. Unless otherwise indicated, prices
do not include 20% service charge on catering plus 6.5%
sales tax, which is applied to all services, catering,
optional "enhancements" and fees.

Restaurant
Dinners
A rehearsal dinner or any other group dinner
that does not take place on your actual wedding day will
not count toward your Wishes Collection package minimums.
However, you can book such events on your own.

IllumiNations
or Fantasmic! Dessert Parties
An IllumiNations Dessert Party or Fantasmic! Dessert
Party is a private event for your group that gives
you an excellent view of the fireworks and laser light
spectaculars offered nightly. IllumiNations: Reflections
of Earth takes place in the middle of World Showcase
in Epcot. The Fantasmic! show is held in a special
amphitheater at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Mad Hatter Tea Party
A "Mad Hatter Tea Party" is an elaborate
production exclusive to Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings.
The package includes oversized "Alice in Wonderland"
decor. You are seated outdoors in a lovely garden setting
and the tables are decorated with wild-colored linens
and floral arrangements. Characters such as Alice, White
Rabbit and the Mad Hatter greet your guests.
A Mad Hatter Tea Party is expensive, but it's certainly
a fun way to treat your guests to a memorable experience.
You could plan a Mad Hatter Tea Party for your attendants,
or even hold one as a rehearsal breakfast. (The "tea
party" isn't restricted to tea -- it could actually
be a catered breakfast buffet, for instance.)
If you're interested in an Alice in Wonderland / Mad
Hatter themed wedding, commitment ceremony or vow renewal,
it might be possible to get the props and characters
used in the Tea Party package for your reception.

Gardenview Tea Room Party
A nice alternative to the wildly expensive Mad
Hatter Tea Party would be a group
event at the Gardenview Tea Room in the Grand Floridian
Resort.
For a very reasonable cost you can even do a "buy
out" of the entire Gardenview Tea Room and treat
your guests to a lovely Victorian-style formal tea.
This location is perfect for attendant teas and other
"girly" events.
