2008 Weddings at Royal Plaza in the Walt Disney World Resort
Royal Plaza, a lovely hotel located on Disney property near Downtown Disney, is a beautiful location for a wedding. Receptions are held in elegant ballrooms that are set apart from the rest of the hotel.
There are locations suitable for every size event, from small weddings to massive receptions with hundreds of attendees.
Wedding ceremonies at Royal Plaza can be held in the ballrooms or in the Crowne Courtyard, which features a lovely cascading fountain.
One great thing about having your wedding at Royal Plaza is that the basic wedding packages include a lot of things that would be "extras" elsewhere!

2008 Royal Plaza packages for 100 guests or more include the following:

Prices for the meal packages start at $49.95 per guest (if you have at least 100 people attending), plus tax and service fee. There is an additional per-person fee for smaller events. Less expensive meals are available for children and vendors.
Don't want a traditional plated meal or buffet at your reception? You can choose from two different "Heavy Hors d’oeuvres" reception packages starting at just $42.95 per guest (if you have at least 100 people attending), plus tax and service fee. There is an additional per-person fee for smaller events.
In addition to the per-person cost there is a set-up/take-down charge of $350 plus tax and service fee for each location you use.
You can choose your own vendors for cake, DJ/band, photography and videography. You provide your own officiant. The hotel catering staff will be happy to help you if you need recommendations.
You can have Disney characters at your reception if you wish. The cost of having characters attend your event is dictated by Disney, so it will be similar to what you would pay at a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding: as of August 2007, the cost is about $1500 for one character for one hour.
