Disney Princess Wedding Gowns

As a tribute to fairy tale wishes and finding true love, Disney has unveiled a new collection of wedding gowns inspired by the spirit and style of each Disney Princess.

"Kirstie Kelly for Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings" inaugural collection was first showcased on the runways in April 2007 as part of the New York Bridal Fashion Week. Bridal gowns priced between $1,100 and $3,500 became available at specialty boutiques in North America, Japan and Europe.

On October 21, 2007, Kirstie Kelly unveiled the "Blossoms" for flower girls collection alongside a new line of bridal gowns inspired by the strength and beauty of each Disney Princess. The expanded collection now includes a new line of bridal gowns, "Maidens" for bridesmaids and "Jewels," jewelry and veils, each inspired by the Disney Princesses.

The new bridal collection builds on the phenomenal success of the line since its debut in April. The essence of each Disney Princess is captured, including Ariel, Aurora/Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, and Snow White. The grace and glamour of each princess comes through in rich treatments with fabrications including silk chiffon, satin, taffeta and a variety of laces, and are elegantly accented with touches of crystal and pearl, ribbon and exquisite embroidery and delicate beadwork.

The Blossoms collection adorably connects to every little girl's inner princess. From the perfect flower girl dress for special occasions to the holidays, the collection will connect the Disney Princesses to aspiring princesses everywhere. The inaugural Blossoms collection features 12 style options in sizes 4 to 14.

The fashion-forward Maidens collection extends the aura of each Disney Princess to women today with the most versatile gowns in the line. This romantic collection was designed with a cocktail and eveningwear vision that weaves traditional bridesmaid design with red-carpet glamour. The collection includes a variety of princess-inspired silhouettes from flowy to fluid, prim to form fitting. The couture-style gowns are available in a wide range of colors and fabrications such as duchess satin, satin back faille, taffeta, and silk shantung with intricate beading and adornments.

The Jewels collection is a glittering showcase of Disney Princess-inspired pieces designed to complement every gown in the collection, including dainty hand-forged flowers made of fine Czech crystal for Snow White, softer, translucent crystals for Cinderella, and a combination of fresh water pearls and crystals with deeper hues for Ariel. The collection features traditional artisanship and elegant designs that will become part of the princess-inspired legacy every bride looks to create on her wedding day. Each piece is color coded with a gem depicting the represented princess, such as light sapphire for Cinderella and amethyst for Jasmine. For the first time, the Jewels collection will introduce a line of classic yet fashion-forward veils focusing on subtle variations in color and shape that whisper characteristics of each Disney Princess.

In celebration of wishes coming true, Kirstie Kelly For Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings will unveil a special platinum gown inspired by Cinderella. The gown sparkles with a rouched bodice adorned with opulent crystal beading and a draped ball gown skirt with cathedral train. Kirstie Kelly announced that she will make a $125 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for each platinum gown sold to help make wishes come true.

The Ariel dresses are sultry and alluring — ideal for the bride who feels comfortable with a more form-fitted look. Fabrics consist of gorgeous silks and chiffons, beads, leaf appliqué and pearls, with a mermaid-like "wave effect" at the bottom.

The Aurora/Sleeping Beauty collection is lovely and romantic, with a mix of georgette, chantilly, high-shine satin, pearl and crystal embellishments, with pleated hems and beaded organza inlays.

The Belle collection exudes stylish sophistication, with lace and ribbon, bands of satin, taffeta and gorgeous tulle flowers at the neckline.

The Cinderella gowns radiate classic glamour and elegance, with silk tulle, duchesse satin, scattered crystals and embroidered beading.

The Jasmine gowns convey a Bohemian chic look, featuring appliquéd lace, embroidery and draping, with chiffon and satin mixed in with clustered beadwork.

The Snow White dresses are sweet and demure, with ruched chiffon, tulle inlays with beading and pleated satins.
